Major Grants Announced

Congratulations to the following organizations! In February, the WHC awarded $43,605 in major grants to the five organizations listed below in support of their outstanding humanities projects.

$10,000 to Ex Fabula of Milwaukee for Ex Fabula: Reclaiming Milwaukee's Narrative Project.

$10,000 to Historic Milwaukee, Inc. of Milwaukee for Doors Open Milwaukee.

$10,000 to Optimist Theatre of Milwaukee for To Be! Shakespeare Here and Now.

$9,650 to Chippewa County Historical Society for The Past Passed Here.

$3,955 to Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center, Inc. of Coon Valley for Oral History Audio Tours for Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center.
